Scooter, Wheelchair, and ECV Rentals
Guests who use a stroller or mobility device when visiting Walt Disney World Resort can bring their personal stroller* or ECV. Strollers can also be rented at all four theme parks and at Disney Springs. The Disney strollers are cute, but not particularly comfortable, and you won’t be able to take them back to your resort.
There are also third-party companies in the Orlando area that you can rent from. The only company authorized to drop off and pick up at Disney resorts is ScooterBug.
When Disney Resort hotel Guests choose to rent through ScooterBug, the Guest does not need to be present when the equipment is delivered to the Resort hotel. ScooterBug will work with Disney Resort Cast Members to manage deliveries and returns of rented strollers, ECVs and wheelchairs. Pre-orders and deliveries of strollers, ECVs, and wheelchair rentals through ScooterBug to Disney Resort hotels are available by visiting scooterbug.com/orlando or calling (800) 726-8284.
Strollers are not required to collapse for use within the parks but using a collapsible stroller is recommended, particularly if you plan to use Walt Disney World transportation. Strollers must be in a folded position on Walt Disney World resort buses — which is how most guests travel between their hotels and the parks — as well as aboard parking lot trams.
Strollers may remain open on the Walt Disney World Skyliner gondola system as well as the Walt Disney World monorail, which connects Magic Kingdom to EPCOT, the Ticket and Transportation Center, and nearby hotels.
*If you’re bringing your own stroller, here are the Disney requirements: Strollers must be no larger than 31” (79 cm) wide and 52” (132cm) long, and stroller wagons are no longer allowed at Walt Disney World.
