Lightning Lane Multi-Pass

Lightning Lane access can make your trip easier by reducing wait times, but understanding the best way to utilize this is very important. There are Lightning Lane Multi-Pass attractions and Lightning Lane Single Pass attractions.

Lightning Lane Multi-Pass

  • Guests can access the Lightning Lane entrance at selected attractions during a designated return time window, with one use per attraction per day.

  • At the time of purchase, guests can pre-plan up to three Lightning Lane experiences within a single theme park.

  • Attractions at Magic Kingdom® Park, EPCOT®, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios® are categorized into two groups. Guests can pre-plan one experience from Group 1 and the remaining experiences from Group 2.

Once a guest has used their initial selection, they can book another Lightning Lane experience from any group throughout the day, depending on availability. Guests with Park Hopper® benefits included in their admission can select experiences from any of the four theme parks after redeeming their first selection of the day.

Lightning Lane Single Pass

  • Guests have the opportunity to access Lightning Lane entrances at select highly popular attractions, with a limit of up to two uses per day per guest.

  • When purchasing a Lightning Lane Single Pass, guests can choose their preferred experience times right at the time of purchase. They are allowed to purchase a Lightning Lane Single Pass for a specific experience only once per day.

For guests with Park Hopper® benefits included in their admission, they can plan Lightning Lane Single Passes ahead for experiences in two different theme parks. Additionally, guests have the option to purchase Lightning Lane Single Passes independently or alongside a Lightning Lane Multi Pass.If you are wanting to purchase access to Remy's Ratatouille Adventure or Rise of the Resistance, you should purchase them as early as possible, because they will sell out early in the day.

More detailed information on Lightning Lanes, including which attractions are Single Pass options and which tier attraction are part of, will be available in your digital itinerary that you will receive 10 - 14 days before your vacation.

When to Purchase

The Lightning Lane Single Pass and Lightning Lane Multi Pass can each be purchased in advance, depending on eligibility, starting at 7 AM EST. Guests have the option to pre-plan their experiences and select return times at the time of purchase.

  • Disney Resort Hotel Guests and guests of select hotels can purchase passes up to 7 days before their stay.

  • All Other Guests can purchase passes up to 3 days prior to their park visit.

  • Guests with date-based theme park tickets can purchase 3 days before the first day of their ticket, for the total number of valid admission days on their ticket.

Guests with valid theme park admission can start purchasing Lightning Lane passes beginning at 7:00 AM EST on their first eligible day.

How to Purchase

  • Open the My Disney Experience app, then tap the Lightning Lane Passes section on the home screen.

  • Select a date and theme park.

  • Select a Lightning Lane Single Pass, a Lightning Lane Multi Pass or both.

    • If you select a Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you can choose up to 3 Lightning Lane Multi Pass experiences and arrival windows in advance.

    • If you select a Lightning Lane Single Pass, you can choose an arrival window in advance.

  • Follow all prompts to complete your purchase—and receive a confirmation.

  • From the confirmation screen, you can tap “Plan Another Day” to purchase another pass—or tap “View My Day” for details about your Lightning Lane selections.

  • Pricing for Lightning Lane passes varies by date and theme park or attraction.

  • Modify your chosen park or date in advance, subject to availability, until you use your first Lightning Lane selection of the day or adjust each selected experience or arrival windows in advance, subject to availability, up until the start of the arrival window.
